More About Me

Professional Background and Experience

I started my real estate career in Corporate America. I spent 10 years building training facilities throughout the United States for a wholly owned subsidiary of IBM. As the facilities manager, my responsibilities included site selections, lease negotiations, and office construction, including data, security and telecommunication installations. This management experience taught me to first listen to the client, communicate the goal, develop a plan to meet the goal, and to always EXCEED their expectations.

I am a current member of the National Association of REALTORS® Snohomish County Camano Island County Association of REALTORS®, Northwest Multiple Listing Service, and the Women's Council of REALTORS®. I have been a Rotarian since 2005, and am currently with the Monroe Rotary Club. I have served as a Board Member in different capacities; communication, community services and operations. I serve as the Windermere Foundation Chair for my office. Last, I volunteer with the WA State Office of the Insurance Commissioner, as a SHIBA  advisor, helping seniors naviagte the Medicare system.

Commitment to Excellence

Excellence has a different definition depending on who you talk to. For me, excellence is exceeding expectations; excellence is always being there for my clients. It means being an advocate, professional, confidante and friend. I will commit to exceeding your goals by researching all avenues of the market, whether you want to buy, sell or invest in real estate. My determination is unwavering and my attention to detail is exemplary. My goal is to represent your interests, negotiate the best price and terms, and guide you smoothly through your real estate transaction.

As a REALTOR® since 2003, I can truly say real estate is my passion. No one transaction is alike, nor is one client anything like another. Each is very special. There is no greater gratification than finding “the happy dance house” for my buyers or guiding my sellers from staging to closing. Along the way, I have built lifelong relationships, a true blessing.

Over the years I have enhanced my skills with various education seminars and receiving the Accredited Buyers Representative designation, the New Construction Specialist designation, Ninja Sales Installation and most recently completing the Senior Real Estate Specialist certification.

My Background Besides Real Estate

I grew up in New Hampshire, the eldest and only female of 5 children. All my brothers love me though! My husband and I moved to the Great Northwest in 1990. We are both outdoor enthusiasts. New Hampshire's highest mountain, Mt. Washington, is 6,288 feet tall. For reference, the parking lot at Mountain Rainer sits at 6,000 feet. We summited Mt. Rainer on Summer Solstice, June 1991.

Our daughter, Gabrielle, was born in 1992. We spent 20 years in the small community of Duvall. In August of 2014, my husband and I took our first downsizing step, moving into our 1500sf rental in Lake Stevens. I have so much more empathy for my clients after going through that process; listing a home, the inspection process and the move. It was much more work than I ever imagined. It took me 6 months to put away, store away, and give away so I could finally park in the garage.

Although we visit our families on the east coast at least twice a year, we have found ourselves very rooted here. Traveling throughout the country confirmed for me that WA State is truly one of the most desirable, beautiful, and healthiest places to live. My family and I continue to enjoy the outdoors; climbing, bicycling and skiing.
