More About Me

Professional Background & Experience

I started my real estate career in Corporate America. I spent 10 years building training facilities throughout the United States for a wholly owned subsidiary of IBM. As the facilities manager my responsibilities included site selections, lease negotiations, office construction; including data, security & telecommunication installations. This management experience taught me to first listen to the client, communicate the goal, develop a plan to meet the goal, & always EXCEED their expectation.
I am a current member of the National Association of Realtors, Snohomish County Camano Island County Association of Realtors, Northwest Multiple Listing Service & Women's Council of Realtors. I am 13 year member of Rotary, currently with the Monroe Rotary Club. I have served as a Board Member in different capacities; communication, community services & operations.

Commitment to Excellence

Excellence comes in numerous variations for all people. To me, excellence is exceeding a client's expectations. It is always being there for the client. It means acting as your agent, advocate, professional, confidante & friend. I will commit to exceeding your goal whether it is buying, selling or investing in real estate. I will research all avenues of the market. My determination is unwavering. My attention to detail is exemplary. My goal is to represent your interest, negotiate the best price & terms, & guide you smoothly through the real estate transaction.
Now with 14 years experience, I can truly say real estate is my passion. No one transaction is alike, no one client is a like. Each is very special. There is no greater gratification than finding “the happy dance house” for my buyers or guiding my sellers from staging to closing. Along the way I have built lifelong relationships with my clients, a true blessing for me.
Over the years I have enhanced my skills with various education seminars. Receiving the Accredited Buyers Representative designation, the New Construction Specialist designation, Ninja Sales Installation and most recently completing the Senior Real Estate Specialist certification.

Something about me

I grew up in New Hampshire. I am the eldest & only female of 5 children. My brothers all love me! My husband & I moved to the Great Northwest in 1990. We are both outdoor enthusiasts. New Hampshire's highest mountain, Mt. Washington is 6,288 feet tall. The parking lot at Mountain Rainer sits at 6,000 feet. We summited Mt. Rainer on Summer Solstice, June 1991.
Our daughter, Gabrielle, was born in 1992. We spent 20 years in the small community of Duvall. In August of 2014, my husband & I took our 1st downsize step, moving into our 1500sf rental in Lake Stevens. I have so much more empathy for my clients now. Listing a home, the inspection process and the move, was much more work than I ever imagined. It took me 6 months to put away, store away and give away so I could finally park in the garage.
Although we visit our families on the east coast at least twice a year, we have found ourselves very rooted here. Traveling throughout the country confirmed for me that WA State is truly one of the most desirable, beautiful and healthiest places to live. My family & I continue to enjoy the outdoors; climbing, bicycling & skiing.
